Silverton Community Day / Independence Day
The Oregon Garden's annual Silverton Community Day, an evening concert, and fireworks sponsored by Roth's Family Markets traditionally takes place on July 3.

Historic Al Faussett Days
Al Faussett's 1928 plunge over 177-foot South Falls in a canvas canoe is commemorated each year at Silver Falls State Park. Present-day Faussett family members converge at the falls along with hundreds of visitors who are treated to a newsreel of the actual event. Silver Falls State Park, 503-873-8681.

Backyard Inspirations Garden Tour

Homer Davenport Days
The first Friday in August kicks off the annual three-day celebration of Silverton's favorite son, Homer Davenport.
